Ongoing one of the the fourth grand slam “ Wimbledon Championship -2022 is being widely watched by tennis lover across the world. The championship is a subject of discussion at present with its romantic and tough matches. Some players are in limelight for their brilliant performance and some are performance and their controversial attitude.
Nick Kyrgios an Australian tennis star is one of those who is in limelight because of his performance an attitude both.
Kyrgios make a topic as fresh controversy after unfollowing the dress code of Wimbledon. He went into court in white dress and red cap on head. It is in public, the Wimbledon dress code are very strict. All England Club(AEC) issued notification that all competitors or participants must be dressed in suitable Tennis attire.
According to AEC all players should be almost white dress and this applies from the point at which the players enters the court. But the right handed player Nick Kyrgios entered in center court in white tight t-shirt and wearing a Red cap that became a topic of breaking the Wimbledon rules.
When reporters asked him, “why you entered in centre court with bright red cap during an interview with him. Kyrgios replied, “Because I do what I want”.
Then, Reporter asked
Reporter: You are above the rules?
Kyrgios: “No, I am not above the rules”.
Reporter: They do not apply to you ?
Kyrgios: “I just like wearing my Jordans.”
Reporter: But there rules specifically against that.
Kyrgios: “ That is ok, next time I will wear some triple whites”
Sources said, “AEC officials also noticed it at that time. AEC officials discussed such breaking rules and attitude of participants are unacceptable.
Earlier, Australian tennis player Kyrgios misbehave with Stefanos Tsitsipa who was in court against him previous match. Stefanos Tsitsipa is Greek tennis professional, He condemned Kyrgios for his bully behavior.
Tennis head Magzine awarded Kyrgios, “Bad boy of Tennis.” According to magazine he has received more fines for his abusive and bullying behavior on court than any other player. Magzine reported he is in top in this list.
