Soon after KL Rahul’s fitness declaration by the BCCI medical team on Thursday, The Senior Selection Committee of the cricket board replaced Shikhar Dhawan’s name with Rahul as India’s skipper for Zimbabwe tour. Now a day later, a fresh controversy has arisen over the above decision by the selection committee and Dhawan’s removal from captainship. The former selector Saba Karim questioned the selector’s turn to Rahul and he also said that this is not fair.

Karim, the experienced player as well as an ex-selection committee member said that it is important to note Dhawan has been leading when the senior players are absent from the team. KL Rahul Should have played the series only as a member, making him captain or vice-captain is not that important. He is coming after a long break. Shikhar Dhawan is a senior member of the squad, who has delivered in white-ball cricket.
