Chelsea sign Spanish Defender Marc Cucurella from Brighton


The London-based Football Club Chelsea announced to sign a six years contract with Marc Cucurella on Friday. Cucurella, the 24-year-old Spanish defender will join Chelsea on Saturday. Earlier, he was playing for Brighton FC in Premier League.


Cucurella, who has scored one goal in 38 games in his only season for the Seagulls did not disclose the fees, but according to a British Media report, the deal is done for £60 Million (73 Million USD) between both including Brighton.
It is Brighton’s record sale, surpassing Ben White’s £50 Million move to Arsenal last season.
