India’s star shuttler HS Prannoy Roy has entered the top 15 spot of the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) latest world ranking after a gap of almost four years. The last time he received the same position in the same ranking on October 17, 2018. Recently he became the World’s No. 1 in the men’s singles category in the BWF World Tour Rankings.

The 30-year-old recently played in the BWF World Championship 2022 in Tokyo, during the tournament he defeated Japan’s World No. 2 Kento Momota 21-17, 21-6 in the round of 16, and then beat compatriot Lakshya Sen and booked his place into the quarter-final of the tournament.
