BWF World Rankings: HS Prannoy Storms in to Top 15 After Four Years

India’s star shuttler HS Prannoy Roy has entered the top 15 spot of the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) latest world ranking after a gap of almost four years. The last time he received the same position in the same ranking on October 17, 2018. Recently he became the World’s No. 1 in the men’s singles category in the BWF World Tour Rankings.

The 30-year-old recently played in the BWF World Championship 2022 in Tokyo, during the tournament he defeated Japan’s World No. 2 Kento Momota 21-17, 21-6 in the round of 16, and then beat compatriot Lakshya Sen and booked his place into the quarter-final of the tournament. Unfortunately, he lost the quarter-final against China’s JP Zhao.
