The Argentine top soccer professional Lionel Messi has been not nominated for Ballon d’Or 2022 award. The selection committee for the top France Football award announced the 30 men’s nominees list on Friday. Trent Alexander, Englisht footballer and Karim Benzema, the French player are on top of the men’s list. Messi, who has won 7 times Ballon d’Or title missed out on this year’s edition. Neymar da Silva also failed to find his name in the above list.

Messi, one of the best players who is always fit to kick soccer in all positions did not make the list despite scoring 11 goals in 34 matches for Paris Saint-German (PSG) last season. Neymar, the other, and his teammate, who played just 28 times for PSG last season have not been included on the Ballon d’Or 2022 list.

  Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time winner succeed to make listing his name on the nominee’s list. He scored 18 goals in 31 matches for Manchester United last season.

 Alexander, the Liverpool player selected with his 5 teammates. Benzema is on 2nd top for this edition of the France Football award. The French football professional kicked 44 goals for Real Madrid in the last season of the La Liga championship.
