Asia Cup 2022: Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani ruled out of Super 4 match against India

Ahead of India vs Pakistan clash in the super 4 of Asia Cup, Pakistani fast bowler Shahnawaj Dahani has been ruled out due to a suspected side strain. Pakistan Cricket Board informed in a statement.

Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for Sunday’s ACC T20 Asia Cup Super-4 match against India due to a suspected side strain. The injury happened while bowling in the match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday, PCB said in a statement.

The pacer has played the last two league matches against men in blue on August 28, and Hong Kong on Friday, September 1. Dahani spent 29 of 4 overs against India at Dubai International Stadium, while he got only one wicket (1/7 of 2 ov) against minnows HK. Here it is pertinent to write that HK bundled out on just 38 runs in which Dahani has paid 1/5run.

Both arch-rivalry teams will reunite at the same venue in Dubai on Sunday, September in the super 4 of the tournament.
