Actor Arjun Kapoor turned 39 on June 26 and threw a party at his home in Mumbai for his family and close friends. However, the absence of his girlfriend, Malaika Arora, attracted attention and fueled rumors of their breakup.
In this, on Wednesday, Malaika shared a secret note on her Instagram story. “I like people I can trust with their eyes closed and turned back,” the post read.
Arjun’s birthday party was attended by Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Janhvi Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun’s uncle and aunt Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor.
According to Pinkvilla, Arjun and Malaika parted ways amicably. “Malaika and Arjun have a special relationship and both of them will continue to hold each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and remain silent on the matter. They will not allow anyone to drag and share their relationship,” the source said.
The source added: “They had a long, loving, and successful relationship which has sadly taken a turn for the worse. This does not mean that there is disagreement between them. They respect each other a lot and are a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have respected their relationship with each other. They will continue to respect each other even though they decide to separate. The two have had a strong relationship for years and are hoping people will be kind enough to give them a chance during this emotional time.
