Team just after two consecutive defeats are out of the Asia Cup 2022, but most of you must be thinking that really it is over yet. The answer is, yes, the remaining expectation where the Indian team were expecting the Afghanistan team to make a win over Pakistan, but even the hope was destroyed yesterday when the Pakistan team won the match against Afghanistan by 1 wicket. Even though the match till the last minute was gripped by the Afghanistan’s, the last two full-toss bowls proved out to be fatal, with the Afghanistan team in utter surprise.
Well coming back to the topic of the trend of Boycotting IPL, many twitter fans are feeling that Team India should not be made participating in the IPL and because they play for money and which is hampering their efforts to play for the nation. The trends started right after Sri Lanka defeated India by 6 wickets. The Indian fans seemed very angry and upset at the defeat India displayed in a row. Everyone after the defeat against Pakistan, thought that Team India would bounce back in the clash against Sri Lanka, but the Lankan army outsmarted the Indians in the game and now are in the finals playing against Pakistan.
Initially, it seemed a good run by the Indian team, but as it entered the Super 4 group Stages, the two consecutive losses proved to be the end of the Indian Playing XI squad out of the Asia Cup league.
What was then, the fans from all around the world called for trends on twitter like the #boycottIPL. This hashtag was seen trending on twitter where Twitter users were seen blaming the Indian squad playing only for money and not the nation. But the question is who are these guys to make any hashtag go viral? To remind you all, the same hashtag or boycotting trend was seen on twitter against the 23-year-oldArshdeep Singh, who due to pressure missed a catch in the match against Pakistan, which eventually was declared to be a traitor on the internet, and which was quite unfortunate, but do you know that the twitter accounts meant for trolling Arshdeep, were linked to a Pakistani Network (From Pakistan) with all bots sharing the unwanted news and defaming the young cricketer as “Khalistani”. The sad part was, many Indian citizens also felt prey to the content circulated and blamed Arshdeep for his mishandling. The question is, is it fair to troll somebody just for the sake of a game that too a boy who just started playing for India.
Now the point is, is there any credibility to the Hashtags we see on twitter and is it really needful to blame our cricketers who are about to start their journey playing in the T20 World cup, starting from October. We all know how Pakistan Cricket board is envious of the IPL’s success and in recent times have been seen trying to meddle with its working style and formats and the money they are earning. So, there are possibilities there are elements on the internet who know these things and in order to push down the success of the Indian team, are trying cheap tricks and methods for their own interest. Now who is to blame for this, we leave it upto you people, who are smart and intelligent to understand what is happening.
