Carlos Alcaraz has grabbed all the attention of the ‘Tennis World’ while making a fresh record despite losing the Title of Hamburg European Open-2022 against Lorenzo Musetti. He became the youngest player in reaching top five position of the ATP’s World Ranking since Nadal on Monday. The 19 years old, Carlos lost the final battle of Hamburg this edition championship by 4-6, 78-66, 4-6 as Musetti, The Italian star lifted his maiden Grand Title.
Earlier, Carlos, the Spanish tennis professional also became the youngest Grand Slam quarter-finalist since 1990 at US Open last year. In this order, He has also reserved third youngest masters 1000 champion record in Miami earlier this year.
Rafael Nadal, the Spanish tennis star who had become the youngest ATP’s top five ranking player in 2005. Now Carlos has become the youngest player to reach top five in above ranking since him.
According to Association of Tennis players (ATP),
Carlos joins the likes of Sampras, Chang and Agassi (three all former American Tennis Professionals) and becomes the youngest in top five since Rafael Nadal in 2005.
